About the OGSS
The OGSS Board of Trustees are appointed with the sole purpose of managing the Congress Trust Fund.
The objectives of the Congress Trust Fund are:

To promote the interests and the improvement of the Science of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Singapore

To encourage research in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Singapore by making awards of funds for this purpose
-
To make provision for the establishment and endowment of scholarships, fellowships, travel grants, exhibitions and prizes for members of the Society in a University or Government Institution in the Republic of Singapore.
The Congress Trust Fund was first set up with monetary donations from various well-wishers all over the world fr om the 4th Asian Congress of Obstetrics and Gynaecology held in Singapore in 1969. The Trust Fund was registered on 13 August 1971. The original Board of Trustees comprised:
